CloudDweller009 answered Sunday November 27 2005, 10:33 pm: Wait, you only weigh 90 pounds? Holy crap. I hope your like 7 or 8 then cause i think i weighed that in third grade. But hey, here's an interesting fact since you think everyone is 10 lbs heavier than you: Phycoligists have proven that the human mind takes 10 pounds off of everyone else and adds 10 lbs to yourself. So actually, ur probably 10 lbs less than everyone else. Does that make sense? Anyway, you really don't need to lose weight. It isn't about being skinny, it's about being healty. cynicalladvice answered Saturday November 26 2005, 2:29 pm: aneroxia is NEVER the answer. Eat nice, normal healthy food, stay away from processed foods becuase they are high in the bad fats, and walk or jog regularly, try yoga too, it's fun, it feels good and will get you in shape (if you aren't already)
SouthernGirl323 answered Saturday November 26 2005, 9:03 am: first off, don't even consider anorexia. its not healthy and will mess up alot of things in your life, including that you would probably be kicked off your cheerleading squad if it got severe.
before eating just think about what you're going to eat, and how you're going to feel afterwards. if it's something really greasy, or with lots of sugar or calories, you'll probably feel gross and dirty afterwards, so it's better to just steer clear. have your mom buy you low-fat snacks, and alot of different fruits, that way when you're hungry, or just feel like snacking, there are healthy alternatives. :) [ SouthernGirl323's advice column | Ask SouthernGirl323 A Question ]

CAPTAINKJ618 answered Saturday November 26 2005, 2:43 am: 90 lbs?? girls would kill to be 90 punds this is what i would reccomend lay off the snacking and teh sodas and sweet and try the fruit apporach...make sure you eat all three meals because each meal is very important because your body is growing
for breakfast: stay away from like poptarts and sugary items try a bowl of cereal or like a piece of fruit stay away from alot of bread(pancakes waffles and so on) drink water or a type of juice apple or orange
for lunch; try a sandwhich stay away from fried food for lunch try either like pasta(carbohydrates) or wraps(totilla with like lettuce tomamato chargrilled chicken) are good or try a salad with a low fat dressing they make like low fat honey mustard stick with water for lunch a gatorade is not bad either for a little energy aviod sodas at first it will be kinda tough and you may get headaches but stick to it...the less sodas you drink you will feel good and better about yourself
try to minimize snacking between lunch a dinner
for dinner try to avoid fried food as much as possible grilled chicken or steak is good alogn again with pasta or sometimes an all veg. diiner is good corn is not bad with like mash potatoes and like boiled shrimp
the anorexic route is not the way to go it is very dangerous and you can die from it...it is a seriosu issue one that you should not be considering talk to your mom or doctor also about how to lose weight...also exercising regularly is a good thing...right now it may not seem like it is paying off but in the long run it will!! maybe take yoga or something at your local fitness center but talk to your doctor because he will tell you what your weight needs to be and if your right on track(which you probably are)
and dont stop eating either just eat healthy!
good luck [ CAPTAINKJ618's advice column | Ask CAPTAINKJ618 A Question ]
blue_bunny answered Saturday November 26 2005, 2:37 am: First question is: How old are you? If you're 13, which I suspect you probably (and hopefully) are, that's fine. However, I'm not going to tell you that your fine just the way you are when I know that's not what you want to hear. You don't seem like the type of person to really eat healthy, or work out consistantly. However, you don't seem like the type of person to become anorexic or bulemic, either. If you positively can't stop eating junk food (like me LOL!), then ration how much junk food you eat in a day. For lunch, I just eat a small bag of fries and a brownie. I may eat really bad junk food, but I don't gorge and eat a whole crap load of it. Also, about the exercising issue. One thing that gets you motivated to exercise, is to do it with the tv. They have little shows in the morning and just on those fitness shows that can really help you exercise. If you want to tone your legs, I would do leg lifts. For the main fat, which is probably your stomach area, do crunches. They're like doing situps, except you don't go all the way up to your knees. You go up just enough so that you're straining your abs. I can give you some more tips later if you want, just email me at pinkbunny_112@yahoo.com any time. I'm on the computer usually from 4:00PM MST to barely no limits.
