country_girl answered Tuesday November 29 2005, 11:24 am: Ask yourself this question. Would you rather play basketball with people your own age who don't know as much about the sport or would you rather play basketball with people older than you who have more experiance? Just make sure that you do what you want and that you make sure that you still have fun playing basketball, I know personally that i have been playing bball for a long time and once i got in middle school was on a traveling team and everything and now that i am in high school I have began to dislike basketball because people pushed me too hard while i was young. DeadMemories answered Thursday November 24 2005, 8:41 pm: Ok this might see weird but when I played basketball my coach was the same way but with a little more problem. See I had a teacher who had a boyfriend who was going out with my bball coach. And it turned out that he was a sexual harraser and he had got a FAKE basketball contract that said he was certified to make kids practice for basketball and they didnt find out until like a year later. But anyway if he tries anything kick him in the balls and call the police. [ DeadMemories's advice column | Ask DeadMemories A Question ]

SoInToYoUx0x answered Thursday November 24 2005, 5:52 pm: having a touch coach isnt really bad thing. i have a tough b-ball coach to. but think about it if he is a tough coach he will push you a lil out of ur comfront zone and make you become a better player both on the court and off. your soo called friends are jealous of you. forget about them and move on. dont feel so affended about them.

Curry09 answered Thursday November 24 2005, 5:33 pm: If you really love the sport then just try and get along with the couch, you have to be good if you were offered to played on the freshman team. If you go on the freshman team and you cant get along with the couch then go to the other school. You should just try it , whats the worse that can happen [ Curry09's advice column | Ask Curry09 A Question ]
icey0990 answered Thursday November 24 2005, 4:37 pm: you love the game right..? dont let anything stop you. if the coach gives you problems, catch him red handed by using a tape recorder or something sneaky like that...as for the girls ..dont let that get to you. a team has to pull together to win, if they see your bringing everything you got, they shhould work with you on the court. if they dont, they will be sorry and lose. what im saying is..you might not like someone off the court, but on the court you have to respect what their bringing and work with them. give it a try, you can always quit if its just too much for you

I quit basketball becasue of that .. he was perverted .. practically stalked me at school according to my friends. but anyway .. If your dedicated to basketball and you want to .. i say take your opportunity. If you dont like it .. you know better for next year. Follow your instinct and do what you want.
