I mean, it could just be a cold thats making you get gunk in your eyes (ick!) but you should still go get seen by an optomologist
MELiixMARiiE answered Thursday November 24 2005, 5:03 pm: Well sometimes whenever your eyes really focus in on something, everything else starts to blur, but really only for a few seconds. If it keeps doing that, then I'd go to an eye doctor. You might need glasses/contacts. I hope I helped.
thund3rstruck answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 3:41 pm: ok theres no way to now if this is just somthign that is happening because of being focesed on one thing for a while or its acctualy a problem. Go yo an eye doctor. If this happens or you have trouble reading stuff i think you might have a stinatism and it can be fixed with eye glasses or special contacts [ thund3rstruck's advice column | Ask thund3rstruck A Question ]
kevin1986 answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 10:36 am: Your eyes are rotting and will eventually fall into the ocean. Or you may just need glasses. It's one of the two. The optomotrist will be able to tell for sure. I'm betting on the glasses though. [ kevin1986's advice column | Ask kevin1986 A Question ]
xOHunni-2-HelpOx answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 6:55 am: hey hunni
how long does this blurryness last for hunni?
sometimes after having your eyes focused on some thing for a long while can make your eyes seem blurry or out of focus after looking at a book or telvision. so i dont think its anything to worry about.
GDROB2 answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 10:19 pm: This is NORMAL. It does not mean your eyesight is going. Anyone who after hours of glaring or reading small print in books can get up and feel light headed and or eyes blurry. It lasts for a few seconds and goes. If it lasts longer than that and does not stop then see an optomitrist.
It's like stepping outside in winter and coming indoors everything looks green for a while. Your eyes are adjusting themselves here and in that instance to the light in the room.
Do not worry about this it really is as simple as your eyes adjusting after having been focused on tiny little words printed in black for an hour or so.
You might just need reading glasses for reading so your eyes are not straining here which they are after you have finished. This is something to consider if light headed feelings and blurred vision seems a constant every time you finsih reading. Otherwise it's just your eyes adjusting for a few seconds. xxoBriannax answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 9:28 pm: Make sure you are reading where there is adequate light. Also, make sure that your face isn't too far away from what you are ready. If this keeps happening, tell your mother or father and schedule an appointment for the eye doctor. [ xxoBriannax's advice column | Ask xxoBriannax A Question ]
MikeDaBoobNinja answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 8:41 pm: Do you go on computers a lot? That can cause your eye-focusing thingey to be messed up. If you do, just focus on things at different lengths from you in a random room or outside or something. If you don't go on the compy a lot, go see an eye doctor!
