Aw,I`ve had this happen to me before.Honestly I don`t think any guy is worth losing a friendship over. It`s chicks before dicks, but if you really want to go out with this guy just try to talk to your friend about it and ask her if it would be ok.Well good luck.♥

I guess this is about priorities, what matters more to you; a super-cute boy who could end up hurting you and breaking your heart and hurting your friend in the long run or your friend who has been there for you. It's a tuffy but I'll let you answer that question!
Best of luck though!

Well you should talk to her about it. Be like well I want to go out with him but I dont want you to get mad at me and ask her how she feels. There are way more guys out there and one isnt worth loosing a friendship over.

first of all your friend cannot possibly love someone who does not even like her--its not right and hse needs to know this-love something you have for anyone and he obviously doesnt even like her so she needs to not waiste her time--as for oyur question i would not lose a friend for no guy--i learned the hard way and men never stick around long enough and if you find one--find out if he has a twin-lol
