color on braces

Question Posted Friday November 11 2005, 9:49 pm

I just got powerchains put on the front of my braces..and they are a really bright color. Is there anyway that I could make the color fade.. maybe by brushing my teeth a lot or drinking a lot of water or something? Because I wont be able to get the color changed for another 2 months. Thanks

That material doesn't fade.. so just leave it be. You can go back to your ortho and get a better color (mine lets me do that if I want). It's hard enough having braces and looking nice with them, so could they give you a break and at least let you pick the colors? Or go back to the office to change them?
It will be ok, jus go set up another apointment if you can to change them.

I highly doubt it. Dentists are evil..
But just think, in 'x' number of years, you'll have lovely, straight, white teeth for the rest of your life!! :)
