well my Sims2 is stratched well not alot . anyone know how to fix that without having to go buy a CD repair kit. ive already tried peanut butter, hair conditioner,&&perfume. i got those from websites and it didnt help
Wipe it on, let it dry, wipe it off. Use a soft rag. I use it now and then myself. Sims are cool...watch out for that Dudley. :)

Alin75 answered Thursday November 10 2005, 2:42 pm: the only thing i have tried which worked (got it from an IT consultant believe it or not) is toothpaste... but of course even that wont fix really bad scratches. Worth a shot though. [ Alin75's advice column | Ask Alin75 A Question ]
orphans answered Thursday November 10 2005, 2:32 pm: Answer: I'd say just go out and get the repair kit. You've probably already damaged your CD even more by smearing peanut butter and hair conditioner all over it. Is it really worth all this trouble? :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

hco_babe answered Thursday November 10 2005, 1:09 pm: there isn't a way to fix it unless you buy the kit or just a new cd. that stuff you put on it is just going to make it worse. [ hco_babe's advice column | Ask hco_babe A Question ]
