Its a music download program. You search songs, find one with the most sources (people that have that song available) and download it. Although, the program is illegal for the most part.
I recomend using Ares if your going to download music.. its faster

yea. you download free songs. and it causes a butt load of viruses. so i wouldnt get it if i were you. it screws up computers bad.

wow so many people are talking about limewire LOL ok so if you go to limewire.com then go to download now then click on basic (free version) and download it, you can then dowload any song that you want to but it might give you viruses or lots of popups if you have a good virus blocker you should be all set good luck ask again if you need to

I have it...it's a music downloader. You can do it for free, but the songs will liek stop for a second a couple times during the song. But there's also limewire pro...where the songs are normal and you pay $18 for 6 months..like it's a one time payment..you don't ahve to pay $18 a month. In my opinion that's really cheap..and it works! I definitly recommend it! ♥ caitie

yeah you just downlaod it on your computer and then you can download free music. Or you can get the pro version and it goes much faster but you have to pay.

Limewire is a program where you could download music, music videos, pictures, etc.
I have it and yes it is free.
But if you are planning to get it stick to downloading songs because other things might contain viruses.
