If anything go to walkmart or beauty shops and look for stuff specifally designed for that. Anything with proteins will help you out alot. BeautifulMadness answered Sunday November 6 2005, 5:06 pm: Actually, your hair grows much faster after being cut than at any other time. Get it trimmed (like less than a cm) every six weeks and it will actually grow really quickly. I had my hair trimmed by about 2cm to get rid of split ends about two weeks or so ago, and you could notice it had been cut at the time but now it's actually longer than it was before I had it cut.
In between times, keep it healthy. Use conditioner to avoid split ends, as these disencourage growth. Brushing does encourage the hair follicles like the other person said, but it also makes your hair fall out. Don't do it too often. I know a girl who had to have her hair cut into a complete mullet because she brushed it so much it almost all fell out.
If you straighten it or curl it, try and leave off doing that every few days to give your hair a rest. Don't dye your hair, or perm it. If you aren't going to be seeing anyone for a few days, don't wash it for those few days. It's actually really bad to keep washing and drying your hair. Try and let your hair dry naturally, again to avoid split ends.

helpachick answered Sunday November 6 2005, 3:24 pm: something you can do that is totally healthy to make your hair grow faster is to take vitiman E pills. vitiman E helps your hair grow faster, and taking it will NOT harm you a bit. if you really dont want to take pills though, then eat food with a lot of Vitiman E in it...
