because the virus will still be on your computer. make sure that you either (1)dont have anything important on your computer or (2)everytime you start your computer you have to put in your username and password. that way the people that gave you the virus can't get to any important information. Go there, and just click "DOWNLOAD". It's 100% FREE. It downloads in SECONDS, AND it does NOT download ANY other crap with it, ya know??
Once it's downloaded, save it to your Desktop (just so it's easy to find), and run the program. It will kick you off AIM (for about 10-14 seconds), while it scans AIM for this virus.
Once deleted, you can sign right back on. It's SPECIFICALLY an **AIM** virus detector; meant to detect EVERY one!! I've used it before, and it always fixed my problem.

karlyndarlin05 answered Tuesday November 1 2005, 8:42 pm: i've had it a few times and the only thing it has done to my computer is send that link to all the poeple on my buddly list. but i have a bunch of virus protection stuff. so maybe it blocks it. its not true about uninstalling AIM. it just takes like 2 or 3 days to go away. it sucks but you just have to learn not to clikc on those links i guess lol
fabulous11 answered Tuesday November 1 2005, 8:42 pm: oo are you talkin about the one where it send's an instant message to everyone on your buddy list sayin like look at this pic or w.e i got that and it messed up my hole computer and i had to put the recovery disk in and reboot the whole thing but im sure that uninstalling aim and reinstalling will work too so you could try it..
