what are some symptoms of depression?

go to askjeeves.com and write the question what are syptoms of depression and there will be a whole bunch of sites where they list the syptoms of depression. if that doesnt work then go to google.com and type in depression

You dont want to eat.
You cry alot sometimes for what others think is no reason.
You cant sleep.
Thoughts of suicide.

Sleeping less, eating less, being less interesting in things you normally love, an affected social/work/school life, stuff like that. Pretty much if you have a combination of all these things, you MIGHT be depressed. These aren't all the factors, but they're enough to get an idea. Just because you might be sleeping less and eating less doesn't mean you are. Talk to a doctor before diagnosing yourself.

Ohh I am going to give you so many. >D be prepared.

•Noticeable change of appetite, with either significant weight loss not attributable to dieting or weight gain.
•Noticeable change in sleeping patterns, such as fitful sleep, inability to sleep, early morning awakening, or sleeping too much.
•Loss of interest and pleasure in activities formerly enjoyed.
•Loss of energy, fatigue.
•Feelings of worthlessness.
•Persistent feelings of hopelessness.
•Feelings of inappropriate guilt.
•Inability to concentrate or think; indecisiveness.
•Recurring thoughts of death or suicide, wishing to die, or attempting suicide. (Note: People suffering this symptom should receive treatment immediately!)
•Disturbed thinking, a symptom developed by some severely depressed persons.
•Physical symptoms, such as headaches or stomachaches.
•Changes in school behaviors (including training courses and work settings)
•Gets poorer grades for assignments than formerly
•Complains of being bored. Becomes disruptive in class
•Finds it harder to stay on task. Loses concentration
•Changes in relationship to family and friends
• Stops going out with friends; shows no interest in group outings Expresses negativity about family
•More than normal conflicts with parents and siblings
•Changes eating and sleeping habits
•Changes in feeling, thinking and perceiving
•Expresses inappropriate guilt
•Feelings of not being good enough, worthlessness, failure
•Expressions of hopelessness: nothing to look forward to
•Preoccupied with self; withdrawn, shows inner distraction
•Cries easily, looks sad, feels alone or isolated
• Fears about having to be perfect.
•Incidents of self-injury. Ideas of killing self

sexual activities for the sense of love
