Hey, I'm pretty skinny (95 lbs), but I want to get abs. If I did 100 crunches a night, would that do it, and if it would, how long do you think it would take? Thank you!!!
Lagunafreakazoid answered Monday October 17 2005, 10:38 pm: I definently think that if u want abs you should at least 40 crunches a night for aas long as you need to. I think that 100 is a little to much to do a night but just start with 40 and see if u need to do more then maybe do 5 more a week!

kipskywalk answered Monday October 17 2005, 9:28 pm: Well first it depends on your age. Kids around the age of 15 and up generally develope muscle much faster than younger kids. Second, everyone is different. Some workouts work for some people while others benefit different people more. If you don't get the results you're looking for just doing a set amount of crunches, you may want to try doing a timed workout, incorporating different types of abdominal exercises. yourperfectdisaster answered Monday October 17 2005, 9:22 pm: Just a question..Why do you want abs? You didn't tell me how tall you are, so I can't really compare it to your weight. But I'm sure you're very skinny as you said. Definately don't start at 100 cruches a night, if you've never done that before. Start off small, such as 25 crunches. Do them for about a week or until you feel comfortable with doing that many and you think you can do more. Then raise it up to 35 and do them for a week. Then 45, 55, 65..and so on. This will get you used to the workout, instead of doing 100 right off the bat. Just keep up with it, and you'll notice results. & Don't be in such a rush for abs, you won't get them right away, but in time, there is a chance you could =) [ yourperfectdisaster's advice column | Ask yourperfectdisaster A Question ]

Jarhead11789 answered Monday October 17 2005, 9:19 pm: I can't really help you on how long it would take, but I can give a good tip on how to do it. Use one of those big rubber inflatable balls. (The kind that is used to exercise with) Do your crunches laying backwards on that ball and do them nice and slow, and I guarentee it won't take too long. I do it, it hurts and it works.
