Mackenzie answered Tuesday October 11 2005, 7:52 pm: It's as simple as it sounds. You sit (or talk to on the phone) with one person. They ask you ONE question, and you promise to answer all questions, honestly. Once you've given your answer to their question, it's your turn to ask. You just keep playing til each person gets a chance to ask 21 questions. Quite simple. :D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

Imperialistic answered Tuesday October 11 2005, 2:18 am: First of all, one person thinks of a noun (usually a person) and the second person has to guess it asking the first person yes/no questions. A 'maybe' doesn't count. The 21st question is where the second person guesses the noun.
For example:
Sally has decided to use Angelina Jolie as her noun.
Jimmy starts asking questions like:
1) Does this person have black hair? Yes.
2) Is this person an actress? Yes.
3) Does this person have an accent? Yes.
4) Is this person "sexy"? Yes
5-20) Et cetera
21) Is it Liza Minnelli? NO! You lose, Jimmy. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
