well obviously you have the right to get it cut... if you didn't it wouldn't be legal... after all it is on YOUR head... he sounds like a control freak... stand up to him and tell him that your old enough to make your own decisions... the longer you wait to stand up for yourself the harder it will be...

tell him to piss off. that is completely absurd. course i was in the opposite position, where i had to get my hair buzzed every sunday(basic training). ask him how you'd look with a nice high and tight.

I think that your dad shouldn't tell you that you "don't have the right to get it cut". I mean, your hair is on YOUR head, not HIS.

If you love your new cute hair cut, then that is absolutely all that matters! =)

dont worry i understand you my best friend just got her hair cut and her mom made a big deal out of it. its okay if you like it but next time ask for permision or this would of never happen.if you did ask permision from your mom just chill cuase thats how dads react cuase they care and talk to your mom about it.

does he have a problem with the amount of money? like wow you spent $30 getting as inch cut off sorta thing? you can go back and get more for your money or you can pay him if he payed for it or just kinda let it be. let me know if you need anything else! <3

edit: oh thats...interesting. all you can do is let it grow out. i dyed my hair and my parents got pissed. they got over it.

Well, there's not really much he can do about it now, is there? I don't know how old you are, but you sound old enough to be able to decide when to get your hair cut. Calmly approach your dad and explain to him that you think you should be able to have precedence over when you get your hair cut. If he won't hear a word of it, he's obviously a crazy control freak and you should just be glad that you don't have his problem, because it really is his problem and not yours.
