Because it's HER and her family's property. Not yours. If she was a good friend, then she'd know you, being a good friend, wouldn't take your dog.
A dog will act friendlier to one who gives it more attention. It's only a puppy, it wants to play.
If you think she's not going to trust you, then it's your choice not to hang out with her. It's stupid that she's upset that she thinks you're going to take her dog. You can be fined if you take her dog. And possibly arrested. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]

Puppies like everyone... They like the attention... and the love they get from everyone... just because it may follow you around... and like being held by you.. its not because it likes you better... its because it likes the attention.... Tell your friend that... and tell her you want to be friends still... that you dont want her dog...
Eva answered Thursday October 6 2005, 10:35 am: Most people like to have pets so that they can feel that unconditional love that they give. I know that pets will tend to play with those that give them lots of attention. This puppy must just feel that you are a good friend to his owner. Give your friend a tip. Whenever you are around tell your friend to give the puppy a treat when he responds to her even though you are around. The puppy will feel rewarded for giving her attention and will soon learn to pay more attention to her. Good Luck.

Ask her this question "Who do you like better, your dog or me?"
BunnyxAblaze answered Thursday October 6 2005, 8:50 am: Dogs like whoever gives them more attention and all that. A dog is not something to get into an arguement over it's not something you can control a dog will choose who gives it more attention and plays wiht it. If it likes you then I don't see a problem in that and neither should she. [ BunnyxAblaze's advice column | Ask BunnyxAblaze A Question ]

But to answer your question thats really not even a question... Why the hell would you want to steal her dog? I mean, dayum, seriously... Your friend has got some major issues if she is going to stop being your friend over thinkin that you are going to take her pet away from her. Mackenzie answered Thursday October 6 2005, 12:48 am: What kind of friend would you be if you stole her dog? Honestly now, that's ridiculous. Just tell her to chill out. If she's been so kind to you all of this time, why on earth would you be so quick to stab her in the back? Just tell her not to worrie, and that you're happy she's happy with her dog; and you're fine seeing it ONLY at her house.. [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
