science Ok so in science right now im averaging a 68. He said im missing two papers (he never even asked me for them) and I got a 70 on a test. All the rest of the papers i got A's on. Does this average seem right?

sadly its sounds like the right average. Test grades make a huge difference in your grades.
however homework, and classwork grades dont. BUTTTTT any zero's effect your grade alot.

yes because tests count for two grades im good @ science need help? ]
it depends on how he grades you...if the papers you missed are a big grade then it might be right...just ask him y he gave you that and ask if you can make up the work you missed and ask if you can get half credit or somthing... ]
im not sure, but if your not happy with your average maybe you can ask for some extra credit, or something that can help boost your grade. ]
it's probably right. ask your teacher if you can turn in those papers for even a little bit of credit. also ask for extra credit. don't worry about it too much. i had a 51 on progress reports in physics and i brought it up to an 80 by the end of the term. just buckle down and try extra hard in that class to bring it up. ]
Here's how badly two zeros and a seventy can bring down a grade:
0
0
70
100
100
100
100
___
7
That would give you an average of approximately 63.
So, yes, that's probably right.
Ask him if you can turn in those two papers you didn't turn in, or ask for extra credit. You probably already know this, I'm sure, but a 68 in science isn't really going to look good to your parents. =/
I hope you can get things straightened out with your teacher. ]
Well, it really depends on the weight percentages. If tests are 70% of your total grade, then yes, the grade of 68 makes sense. But, if tests are only 20%, then the average doesn't seem right. Ask your teacher, and talk to him about your concerns. He may even let you turn in your late papers for some credit.
good luck- :) ]
2 zero's and a 70 on a test grade. Yep, those can bring you down a bit. I once had a test grade that brought me down from an A to a D and I didn't have any zeros. ]
