Have you asked your doctor for help? If you don't have one currently, it might be helpful to enlist the help of a physical coach or a teacher of yours. But I know of a few exercises that I don't think would affect your breath too much, and you can do them anywhere!
1.) while sitting at a table or a desk, put your arms flat against the top and push down as hard as you can against the desk. Hold for ten seconds then release. Do 5 reps.
2.) Stand with your feet parallel and rest your hands lightly on a shelf or something of the like. roll onto your toes and down rapidly 10 times. Do 3 reps. Try to roll through your feet.
3.) Put a book between your legs at the knees or some other flat item, and squeeze your knees together as hard as you can. Hold for 10 secs then release. Do 5 reps.
And also, if you're just looking to stay fit, remember the take the stairs instead of the elevator trick? Well, believe it or not, that works. Even pacing wjile you're on the phone, wlaking to the mall instead of getting a ride; it all helps! ]
The best bet will be to check with your doctor.
He/she will be able to let you know exactly what you can and can't do.
Do not even think of attempting any without having your rescue inhaler close by until you talk to your doctor.
You probably don't even need to go in for an office visit. Just call the office and they can give you some information. :) ]
i have exercised enduced asthma & all you need to do is take 2 puffs of your inhaler & you should be fine.
-hope that helped!♥ ]
Well, normally asthmatics have an inhaler. If you take 2 puffs of your inhaler about a half an hour or 15 minutes before, you should be fine. ]
hmm i dont have asthma so i dont really know what to say. well my friend tiffany has asthma too but she still dances and does cheerleading, so its ok, just take a break every now and then and dont over do it. If you feel your getting tired then stop, or else its just going to get worse. hope i helped!

I also have asthma so I know exactly where you're coming from. My doctor suggested that I stick to low-impact exercise. Walking is a great exercise I've found. I can go as slow or fast as my body is up to. Swimming, crunches, riding an exercise bike, squats, even yoga can be done also as long as you're sure to take breaks when you need them. Drinking plenty of water while exercising also seems to help.
You want to consider talking with your family doctor. There are some medicines that will help with your breathing while you exercise. I have an inhaler for those times that I overdue it. ]
get a prescription to help with the asthma then do some easy things like crunches or sit ups where you can take breaks when you need them. a bunch of runners have it but i wouldnt recommend it. <3 ]
