truadvice answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 1:51 pm: well if your in school or have a stressful job stress can cause headaches and you have to figure out how to get rid of the stress . if you don't then i sugest you see a doctor because it could be a tumor or some thing serious [ truadvice's advice column | Ask truadvice A Question ]
angelmcclain answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 11:40 am: i have horrible headaches as well and here are a few things that worked for me, i actually put ice on my head where it hurts the most, and occationally massage it really hard in the same place. the only medicine that has ever seemed to work for me is excedrin migrane. i have had to go to the hospital many times and got pain medicine shots. i was told the first time i went to get a catscan tomake sure everything is ok, and they told me alot of times people dont drink enough water and get headaches from mild dehydration. you might need to make an appt. with your family doc. hope i helped. therocketsummer answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 8:07 am: Well, this could be potentially serious. It could be something little like allergies, but let me tell you my experience. I started to get headaches more frequently and more severe. Soon it got to where I'd have a headache eachday around the same time. It got THAT bad. One day my mom took me to the hospital and they did a few tests; come to find out I had something called Meningitis. This is also a potentially severe diease if it's not treated. You might want to consider getting a spinal tap [to test for meningitis- you can die from this disease if it's not treated] Just food for the thought.
malibubarbiie111 answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 6:40 am: yes. my mom started to have bad headaches. now she gets these like weird dizzy spells. its kinda scary. but. if you go to the doctor, they can find out exactly what is wrong. && give you medicine to keep it under control && keep it from getting worse. hope i helped somewhat. haha.*

Britts_Baby_09 answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 12:49 am: Okay, go to the chiropractors, and I know you're probably thinking, why? Well it's because you probably have nerve that's being pinched. Or you should just go to a regular doctor to get a check-up and see what's up with you. [ Britts_Baby_09's advice column | Ask Britts_Baby_09 A Question ]
DangerWench answered Monday September 19 2005, 10:56 pm: I don't know what any of the advice you have already been given is, but I can tell you one thing that may not be common knowledge.
My mother used to get horrible headaches. Well, there is a long involved story where I find out that some major health problems I was having came from diet soda (NutraSweet) and when I told mother about it, she stopped eating or drinking anything with NutraSweet in it. Her headaches went away.
So if you eat or drink anything with NutraSweet, you may want to try not having any for a while and see if that helps.
For more info on NutraSweet aka Aspartame, see this link:
