You can start your period at any time, I know some one that started when they was 8, you never know when your period can come, it may be today, it may be tomarrow, you never know but if you feel like you gotta go to the bath room, dont think twice about going go then and there if you have to ask a teacher then if she says no tell her your going through girl problems. Well hope i helped,

You are going through puberty but no one can really tell when their period will come. I mean you could get discharge for about 2 weeks or so. Anyways, when you feel like you need to go to the bathroom and you fell like liquid is comming out then run to the bathroom. You should always wear a small light pad without the wings just incase. You don't need the normal ones but always carry a pad or tampon in your bookbag or your purse.

your just now going through puberty...that doesnt mean youll get your period in the next week, trust me! dont wear pads everyday and live your life in misery. carry a thin liner in your backpack if you really worried. the first time you get it, theres barely anything there...toilet paper could get you through the day and you can get supplies after. just take that advice...save yourself the trouble. <3

UPDATE: yes to answer your comment, yes it is light for the first few hours..sometime in that time period you will discover you have your period. either you will go to the bathroom and see it or you will just feel it somehow.

all of these are good indicators that your period will be arriving soon...HOWEVER:
it doesnt mean it will be here any day so dont wear a pad until it comes. it could come next week..next month..or 6 months from now! what you could do..is carry a pad with you in your purse or in your bookbag or wherever. you will be fine..you wont spurt blood all over. when you first get it its very light and it wont seep through your pants or anything.
