Anyways, when you feel like you need to go to the bathroom and you fell like liquid is comming out then run to the bathroom. You should always wear a small light pad without the wings just incase. You don't need the normal ones but always carry a pad or tampon in your bookbag or your purse. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

icey0990 answered Sunday September 18 2005, 11:12 am: UPDATE: yes to answer your comment, yes it is light for the first few hours..sometime in that time period you will discover you have your period. either you will go to the bathroom and see it or you will just feel it somehow.
all of these are good indicators that your period will be arriving soon...HOWEVER:
it doesnt mean it will be here any day so dont wear a pad until it comes. it could come next week..next month..or 6 months from now! what you could do..is carry a pad with you in your purse or in your bookbag or wherever. you will be fine..you wont spurt blood all over. when you first get it its very light and it wont seep through your pants or anything.
