I started wearing them at 15. But...I can understand what your mom is saying, but also...at any age nothing should be placed up there... But, tampons are doctor recommended for a reason. I think you should just use them only during P.E. Tell your mom that you will wear them only in that class, and the rest of the day wear a pad, and or whatever else you wear.

Hope I helped.

i belive that once you are old enough to of started your period, then you are old enough to decide what kind of feminine product to use, sounds like you and your mom need to have an adult heart to heart, let her see you approaching the topic like an adult, and she will be more likely to treat you like one.

I started wearing tampons when I was 12 or 13 so I don't think you're too young. And though you may still be growing, they even sell slimmer tampons now to accomodate younger or more petite people. They're not uncomfortable and I don't think it's a big deal so I say give it a try.

You are deffinitly not to young to use a tampon.I've known girls younger than 14 to use them. Your mom will just have to get over it. u could always just bye them and keep them in ur gym locker. Hope I helped.

My mom decided when my Sis and I turned 13 we could wear them. Your Mom needs to realize you NEED to wear them. Pads are messy and tampons are easier. They make them so you can wear them at this age, to. Try explaining how you need to wear them to your Mom and maybe she will lighten up. Good Luck!

not at all. i was 12 when i started my period and started wearing tampons immeadiately. make sure she knows that pads are messy and that you have to change them all the time. you are not too young. and tampons are made for people our age and over so it is safe to put them in you. and once you get used to them [after a couple uses] you can not feel them at all. hope i helpeD!

nope your not too young i think she just doesnt want you to like putting things up there, know what i mean? she should realize that you will NEED to wear them somtime in your life and you deserve to be comfortable on your period. for now, get them in the locker room for PE then after use a pad. she'll never know. read an article on how to put one in before you actually do and use a light one first. <3
