i just broke up with my bf of 3 years....it was over some differences...im really depressed...how do i cheer myself up and stop feeling so depressed? what are some things i can do to make myself feel better.....please dont say go out with another guy, im not ready for that yet

Break ups are horrible. But kudos to you for not wanting to jump into another relationship.

I'd suggest that you take some time out to pamper yourself. Bubble baths are good. Chocolate is never inappropriate. Walks on the beach are pleasant.

When you were going out were there any things that you thought 'Oh, I wish I could ... but I can't because I have a boyfriend ...' If so then make plans to do them now.
