Why are people so obsessed with being trendy? Why does everyone feel the need to wear the latest clothes, or listen to the latest music(Rap usually). What happened to people being individuals, and being happy with who they are? This isnt really a good question, but it gets on my nerves how people act sometimes.

Maybe its not that there trying to be "in" maybe the things everyone likes are actually really good and thats why everyone likes it

Youe like what u like other people like what they like if u dont want to like what everyone else likes then dont. Pretty simple!!

people usually do that to fit in. i dont cause i LOVE bein different. i listen to country..i wear what i want. just keep bein yourself....it will pay off in the end!!!

hey, well people usually act this way because they are shy or insicure about who they really are. they try to fit in with everyone else so they wont be an outcast and get picked on and stuff like that. some people do it cus they actually like it others because they dont know what to do lol.

alot of people are really insecure, want to fit in, and are afraid to be who they truly are. it gets on everyone's nerves...you're not alone. some people are fake...they have fake personalties and everything about them is fake... just be glad you're not one of them :-D

its fine if they all like something, but it changes so quick and they like things for the wrong reasons..pft. life is no fun if your following the crowd! be different! woo! =]

yeah i see what you mean but the people i know the "trend" is to be "your geeky self". it weird b/c ppl will go out of their way not to look "cool" and i dont like that so im my "fashionable" self and wear whatever the hell i feel like wearing. all my friends would agree with you tho and they critisize me for rolling my uniform sleves or wearing eyeliner. its really a matter of opionion. <3

Some people want to look like others or talk like others I mean but other people have their own style which I think is pretty cool.If it bothers you then just ignore it if those people who are not happy of who they are it probably is a good reason why don't you think?You act on your own and just be individual so people could see that you work your way out it is also good that you let out what's bothering you about people these days it starts off a good discussion.

In society, people cannot be individuals but they can at home or in a small group. Why? We all want to be liked and loved and going outside of what others are doing seems a risk few people want to take or make. So, we copy clothing, music etc. etc. If you want to be different try different music, arts, whatever and if people do not like you tough! At least you did not sell out with your convictions.
