so i have to agree with the last answer on it might be a bad idea because of insurance, however if that doesnt bother you then go for it. the TL is a great fast car by acura. there are a lot of mods available and its a fairly safe car. so other than bad insurance rates now and worse when you crash go for it

I would not recommend it as a first car, especially with low miles.

"Luxury car" = higher insurance
New driver = easily wrecked car
Wrecked luxury car = permanant higher insurance

I don't know much about your driving ability (which is probably minimum at 14), but I know insurance and statistics, sooo. Hope this will help your decision.

That's perfectly fine! 75,000 miles isn't bad at all.. but if it was like 200,000... I wouldn't bother getting it at all cause then that's not a good car. And it being a 98's fine too. So get it! Lucky.. I wish I was gonna get a car whenever I turned 16.. =/ haha I hope I helped!

Love,
MELii

From the details so far, it sounds fine. I don't know if Acura is foreign, if it is I wouldn't 'cuz getting the car fixed would cost ALOT more than than an American car.

You also want to check out how many gallons of gas the car holds and how many miles the car can go on one gallon. If it's a gas guzzler, I wouldn't get it.

If a car is anywhere near 200,000 miles, don't bother getting it, that's a disaster waiting to happen. 75,000 miles isn't bad at all so if car breaks down there will actually be a reason rather than it just being a high mileage car.

Hope I helped!

A leather interior? When your 15? That's great! Your lucky. It's OK it's a '98 model, your first car shouldn't be anything special, because your a new driver, and just incase you have an accident, you don't want a brand new car to be getting banged up! Your lucky, sounds nice! Leather interiors are very preferable, and shows high quality!
