LongLostHeart answered Tuesday August 30 2005, 10:57 pm: Well,in major cities there were shrines and temples built to the gods and godesses...they would take livestock up to these temples and slaughter them in the shrine,or near the dieites' statues....they would also lay crops down in the shrines, such as corn.
Praying also helped, and had festivals for certain gods and godesses.
Hope that helped,

They set it down someweres, maybe a church or a holy place, and they prayed to the gods, or they sang, or did many other types of rituals to tell god to come and take there sacrifice. Hope I helped!

historygrl4no1 answered Monday August 29 2005, 5:06 pm: they would go to a shrine built for that god and lay things at there shrine and stuff. Then there would be someone to collect them and make sure it got to the gods. I'm kinda like a hstory buff, so if you have any other history questions, email or IM me. Hope this helped.
Scribble answered Monday August 29 2005, 5:05 pm: Normally by slitting their throats with A GIANT KNIFE. Blood sacrifices were best recieved so people sacrificed an animal (often a goat) at the altar of the god they were trying to suck up to by murderizing it, and then often burning the remains afterwards.
