TrustMe answered Friday August 26 2005, 10:36 pm:
lol this is perfectly normal! Everyone goes through this one way or another. Sometimes your period comes late, or early, or even decides to skip a month or 2. lol. theres no way of knowing when this is going to happen, you just always have to be prepared with a pad or a tampon in your purse.
good luck and keep me posted

If you haven't had sex, you should be getting it soon. It's perfectly normal for you to not have a perfect 28 day cycle this early on. Most women don't have a regular cycle until they're in their 20's. You should get your period fairly soon since you're already a week late. If you don't, you should go see a gynecologist because it could be a sign of something wrong. I used to get mine one month but not the next month when I first started mine and I wasn't having sex. You've got nothing to worry about. (Sorry.. that might have been TMI)

Who the heck wants it!? If someone wants it, they can have mine! Ha ha ha.

Yes, it is absolutely NORMAL. 100%

Beause you've only had it for six months, you're still undergoing changes. Your period still has a mind of its own - and uses it well! - but not often to our benefit. Sometimes you'll have your period regurally for three months, then skip two months. Completely ANNOYING!, but perfectly normal and natural.

Yes, this is normal. You've just started menstruating so your cycle will be irregular for the next few years. You'll notice patterns and they may change at no particular moment, like now. None of us can tell you if you'll get your period soon. You could skip your period or it could start late. Don't worry about it, really.

Curemysadness answered Friday August 26 2005, 8:17 pm:
For most girls their periods are irregular at first. It has to have time to adjust and get used to a normal schedule. It's perfectly normal if it doesn't come on the exact day/week that it is supposed to. I have had mine for about 3 years now, and it still isn't on a strict schedule. If you are really worried about this tho, you could talk to your mom or see a doctor. but I don't think there is anything that you should have to worry about!
