It depends, since everyone's different. I grew half an inch since last year and that seems a lot to me. Not everyone stops growing around the age of eighteen. Some stop earlier than that age.

its not really that much actually, 3 inches would be ALOT but people usually grow an inch and a half every year!

no not really. you stop growing when your bone age hits about 16-17 for most girls they stop growing in the begining of highschool/end of middle school and others stop growing in their mid 20s. most girls your age prob wont grow 1/2 of an inch in a year but you should consider yourself lucky. i'm 15 and my doctor said i've only grown 1/2 inch in like the past 3 years

you don't necessarily stop growing when you turn 18 but puberty is supposed to stopped at around that time. it is still possible to stop growing at a younger age! i've been 5'1 since I was in 7th grade and I'm in 10th now. It's nothing bad, it's totally normal, but yeah I would say 1/2 is alot to grow in one year.. well compared to nothing.

everyone is different..yes its true that all growing is pretty much finished by the age of 18. some unlucky ones such as myself...seem to stop growing at a much yyounger age. at age 11 or 12 i was about 5'3..4 or 5 years later at 16..im still about 5'3. ya, not much progress.. im pretty much done growing so to people like me, 1/2 inch is a gift
