clubs

Question Posted Tuesday August 23 2005, 8:41 pm

I am starting high school this year. My mom told me she was in FHA club when she was in school. What other kinds of clubs are there? Does anybody belong to one that would be fun for me to try? I am a girl.

Different schools offer different programs, and some are even student invented. If college is important to you and I hope it is, then choose something to support your academics. For example, Spanish Club to go along with a Spanish as a foreign language classes. Being a girl does not limit you to certain clubs! Try whatever seems exciting, but remember that you will need to put regular studies first, before you commit too much to extra activities.

Theres drama club, french club, spanish club, 4h club, yearbook, SADD, art club -- theres a whole bunch. Just find out info. about them and ask around and see if its fun to join. I personally loved yearbook. Taking pictures is sort of one of my things, lol.

try drama club, dance club, art club, year book, SADD(students against drunk driving...), singing, newspaper, if you play an instrument- ensemble...

also most schools are open to new suggestions- so think of a club you might like and talk to your principle or someone on the faculty...you will probably need a teacher to suppost you...at my school the h.s students started a dodgeball club...haha..but its fun to play and to watch...

muchh lovve...also there might be a list on your school website...♥

High school has a lot of different clubs. FHA, FFA, Golf, chess. They have things for any intrest you might think of. I didn't join any myself because I just wasn't the club joining type, but today you can find one for almost anything you might be interested in. :)
