it might be your period but then again to doulble check maybe you should ask your doctor. better safe then sorry. even if you feel wired asking its better then letting it go too far. your doctor will always understand.

<3,
ask me anything!!

Its definitely your period. I was the same age when I started. Your period goes from 3-7 days, and you may have discharge after. Wear pads for now..and see if it comes back next month around the same time. Always be prepared. If it comes back next month, at least wait to wear tampons for another couple of months.Don't worry, nothing is wrong with you. Here's some websites with how to deal:

dont worry... you're not going to die.. lol. it's definately your period. I got mine during the summer after 6th grade. periods normally last like 4 to 7 days. sometimes even longer. the amount of blood varies.. some people bleed A LOT.. i'm one of those people. if you feel some pain where your stomach(or lower) is.. it's normal. those are cramps.. and almost woman gets it while having her period. sometimes it hurts like hell.. mine always hurt really really bad, but my doctor gave me some medicine to make the pain go away.. if you ever experience really bad cramps.. just take some tylonol or midol pills. and if you see like white or brown liquid that looks and feels like thick gel on your underwear.. that's normal... it's just discharge. usually girls have a lot of discharge during the first 2 years of having their period

hope i helped :)

well 7th grade is normally the time to get it, even though people mature differently. tell your mother, she'll know whether its your period or not. but it sounds to me like that's what the bleeding is from.

yes it sound like you have started you period, so there is no need to worry about it, after another few days and you are still worried about it i suggest you talk to your mom or sister or someone that you trust. the 1st few years of your periods they will be abnormal and will come at funny times etc. hope i helped ~*~Lucee~*~

It's normal. Everyone is a little different, and you may not bleed the same amount every time, but what you've described is well within the bounds of normal menstruation.

Now that you're menstruating, you should probably schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN.
