If you're interested in getting him a store bought gift, try keepin' it simple. Spring for some posters, a leather jacket, nice cologne, a gift card, a nintendo system, or some DVD's.

Another possible suggestion... you could always make him a poster or a photo album. You could deck it out with markers, photographs, quotes and so on.

How about making him some sort of little quilt with protective clear pockets that you can insert pictures into, and take them out to wash easily?

You never mentioned any type of a budget, so perhaps you could take him to a fancy dinner?

Another option... you could MAKE him dinner!! If you're up to the challenge, you could try stuffed chicken breasts with potatoes of some sort with a fresh garden salad and sundaes for dessert! Ooooh, or LASAGNA!!

And if you wanna get creative, how 'bout you just go to the park?? Bring a blanket and some music! And pack a picnic lunch, which doesn't have to be difficult. It can consist of turkey sandwiches on slice bread, grapes, watermelon, pretzels, twinkies etc. And make shore you bring a crap load of bread to feed the duckies!!

(Just in case you were interested in preparing a meal for him, here is a page of a BUNCH of QUICK and EASY meals which can ALL be prepared in 30 minutes or LESS guaranteed!!!

This lady is my all time inspiration!!! I wouldn't suggest her if she wasn't fabulous!)

*It's important to remember that it's the thought that counts with these things. Exspense doesn't measure love, so whatever you do I'm shore he'll love!! Just be creative and have fun!! :D

You could make him a really cute card. Find out from his friends what he likes. And you should have an idea of what he likes. Also you could make his birthday be really special and go to dinner with him and stuff. That would be cute, if you set it all up and stuff.

It all depends on what kind of guy he is, and what types of thing he's into, but since yall are going out, get him something meaningful to the both of you, something for him to remember you by when you're not there or something. Don't get him something that his mom or his friends would get him, be original. It's really hard but anything that you get him he will appreciate because it's the thought that counts. For example, my friend made her boyfriend 3 different framed picture collages, one said "I" in block lettering, inside was filled with pictures of eyeballs, the next one was shaped like a heart and had a bunch of like valentines-ish stuff in it, then the last one was a "U" and inside had a bunch of the letter you.. each picture was mounted on a green background because that's his favorite color, and she wrote a message to him on the back of each picture. It's the thought that counts, it probably didn't cost her too much to do either. Good luck and hope I helped.

Take one of his interests, and get him something there. Being a guy, I know how he is. He does have stuff he wants, just doesn't think them to be important. Get him a CD from his favorite band, or a box of baseball cards (If he likes them...), or even a shirt. Something that you may think he does not need, but he wants internally.

When people say they dont want gifts they usually really do but you might just want to get him something small like a stuffed animal or maybe if you have any inside jokes between you two you could get him like something to remind him of it or even a pic of you or both of you together!!! hope i helped!!

He probably doesn't want you getting him anything meaning that cost $money$ guys are weird like that. But um I think you should make him something. For my boyfriend I got him a hat *Miami Dolphins* his favorite team ick yeah. Anyways but for our one year annerversary I got something offline like a certificate saying best kisser (there's other ones best boyfriend happy birthday) it's at www.loveyou.com and I burned a CD of all the songs that remind me of him, took a picture of me then got a picture of him and cut them out and put them together, then I wrote him a note that said all the things I feel about you is blah blah blah, and a poem on the back.
