I'm planning a surprise birthday party for my nephew. He'll be 11 in a couple weeks. He's really into army stuff, so I'm using that for the theme. Does anyone know of any party games that fit a camouflage/army theme? I'm going to make the cake myself, so I could use some suggestions on how to decorate it. Thanks!

MrNature answered Friday August 12 2005, 10:27 am: A game me and my older brother used to play when we were kids was "Car bomb", similar to hide and seek, but we had a couple of old dolls that were both ripped to bits. We all used to hide our eyes then the "bomber"(my dad) would then throw the bits all over the garden and then we split into two groups charlie and Uncle Sam, but I suppose you could use Taliban and Uncle Sam now, The person who came back with the most body parts for the repatriation ceremony won. Im sure its as good fun now as it was then. We used to put all the bits in a makeshift body-bag while lining up and saluteing. I can remember making my mom quite teary eyed.

DancinCutie08 answered Thursday August 11 2005, 11:56 am: make like a fun army style obsticle course and stuff. or if your nephews into that kinda thing you can have them decorate camo shirts or build army trucks out of wood (pre made kits). also a fun game that sorta fits in is somehow hook tons of balloons to a rope and try to have them pop them off of a rope. if you can have everyone where camo shirts or something and go outside or somewhere good and play flashlight hide and seek or kick the can or something. you can even try having a mini boot camp and the first one that gets tired they get to spray with silly string or something. i bet if you go to a party web site they would have better ideas
cheerPrincess11 answered Thursday August 11 2005, 8:39 am: An awesome game for that is manhunt. If you live by woods it works better but otherwise make do with what you have :-) manhunt is when there are two teams and one goes and hides they have to try to blend ni without getting caught. The other team has to run in the woods and try to catch them before they cross the boundry line into there safe zone. Then there is a jail and we all know how jail works :-D I hope this helps post in my inbox for further info

HectorJr answered Thursday August 11 2005, 8:00 am: Manhunt was always a favorite. Try capture the flag at a park or backyard with obstacles. Those might actually be more fun at night when it's dark, but still fun in broad daylight. Have fun. [ HectorJr's advice column | Ask HectorJr A Question ]
