There isnt much you can do to prevent it but shave slowly and if you are using shaving cream try swiching to warm water and good soap. It will make it smoother. Your razor has to be sharp and new each time. After shaving just apply lotion. Hope it works out. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

I'm not really sure if there's any cream or anything you could put on it..because I don't know of any. But I don't know if there's really much you can do, unless you choose to not shave down there anymore. That's my advice, is not to shave down there anymore, but I don't know what you'd rather do.
MissKatie1230 answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 11:25 pm: That's called razor burn. If you want to minimize these bumps, shave with soap and warm water, and after, use a light moisturizing lotion, but not near the vaginal opening, as that could cause infections. Also, you could try shaving in the direction the hairs grow.

A really good solution to your problem could be using Aloe Vera down there because it calms your skin and prevents break outs. Xo> Hoped I helped..
