The only risk would be if the person used an old needle that had been used on someone else..or if it got infected, which, as long as you clean it properly, it won't. It does hurt..but just for a second, and it's not as bad as people try to make it out to be.Hope I helped! Good Luck!

theres only minor risks of getting an infection. but if you do get an infection you just have to put medicine on it and it will go away soon.i have my belly botton pierced and it hutr a little bit at first but not much. if u have your ears pierced it probably didnt hurt nemore than getting my ears done.hope i helped XoXo

um- i would think it hurts- i mean just shoving a sharp object through your stomache...
here are some of the risks
- it can get caught on things are rip off (very unlikey, but it did happen to my friends babysitter....ouchhh)
- i has a chance of getting infected
- if you decide to take it out it looks like you have a second bellybutton..hehe but idk why you would want to take it out after the whole process of getting it pierced...
- if you dont clean it it can become painful or infected
so um yeah those are some of the risks...
but after reading some other things on the subject- its looks awesome after the procedure so yeah

infection! I wouldn't know if it hurts becasue I've never had it done, but I'd imagine it would. If you do make sure to clean it every chance you get! But they do look really cute when all is said and done!

i got mine pierced last december. it only hurts for like 3 seconds. it hurts when the piercer clamps the pieve of skin about your belly button, and it hurts when the piercer sticks a needle in your skin to make the hole. i closed my eyes during most of the precedure because i thought it was goin to hurt like hell, but when i opened my eyes, i saw a cute belly button ring on me and it was totally worth the pain.
the only thing that can go wrong when you have a belly button ring is when your piercing gets infected. when it gets infected, you have to consult with a doctor and he/she will give you some medicine to disinfect it.

it dosent hurt alot . i got mine done . i mean a bee sting hurts worse. keep it clean and u wont have to worry about infections.

Risks, there really isn't a lot. When you go and get it done, you have to listen to the person on how you can clean it. If you don't clean it and you're always touching it with your hands, you'll get an infection. Other then that, there's nothing to worry about. It doesn't hurt at all. A lot of my friends got it done (they aren't too good with pain) and they said it didn't hurt. It's like a pitch that is over within 2 seconds, just like getting your ears done.

No, it doesn't hurt when getting your belly button pierced. It hurt more for me when I pierced my belly button by myself then getting it professionally pierced. The only risk is if you don't clean your piercing daily and if you play around with the ring, it'll get infected.

its just as bad as getting your ear peirced which isnt bad..lol..and the thing that hurts the most is the metal clamp the use to pinch you..

Well, the risks of getting your belly button pirced are serious. If you get it done and don't take care of it, it could get seriously infected, which can cause you to be hospitalised. Or in the rare case even death. And yes it does hurt a lot. But if you get it done and take care of it like you should, you should be fine, but also you should ask the person thay is doing it for you how to propoly.

No it doesnt hurt that bad.. depends how you handle pain.. if you dont handle it too well i suggest not gettin it done or if you do then find a place that will numb it so it doesn hurt.. and it can hurt really bad if you dont take care of it and clean it.. ♥ Dez
