I usually wear bras that are sort of like sports bras but they aren't. They don't have padding or anything. I decided I wanted a bra with more support in it like a cup bra. We looked at the cup bras, but the ones i was looking for had padding in them. I tried them on and my boobs actually looked like boobs! I'm not used to this change and I love the look and feel of them but, I'm not sure if I'm being too fake. I'm going into 7th grade and I'm a size 32 in kids bras. What do you think? IS this too much of a change from my no-padded bras?
Additional info, added Saturday August 6 2005, 9:26 pm: I feel like it's like stuffing your bra. Would people look down at you for wearing them in 7th grade?? It's just my boobs are so much bigger in them and I'm scared people will be like "wow i didn't know you can grow that much in one summer!" And also, is it a bad idea to switch back and forth from padded to non-padded bras?. Want to answer more questions in the Health & Fitness category? Maybe give some free advice about: Health? Brunette27 answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 12:35 pm: Believe me a lot of girls wear them in 7th grade. It is kind of a bad idea to switch back and forth because you will be making it kind of obvious that you are wearing a padded bra. People will just think that you grew a lot in the summer and no one really cares. When you start wearing a padded bra your boobs do feel a lot bigger! It takes some time to get used to. SoNotLegal answered Sunday August 7 2005, 5:36 pm: How about doing it in stages? Right now you're in a non-padded bra -- basically, it's just fabric, right? So get a bra that has support, but very little padding. Then you can move up to a bra with more padding if you want.

oneandonly345 answered Sunday August 7 2005, 2:46 pm: no! not at all. i started wearing them in like 5th grade.
yes, it might be a bad idea to switch a lot .. like on day wear a padded one, the next day dont. maybe you should wear the padded one most of the time . then wear the non-padded when you are dressed down, or playing a sport.
but most girls are going to understand.. they are going through this too. but its nothing to worrie about.
wear those padded bras and be happy you have bigg boobs! =)
*ashlee* answered Sunday August 7 2005, 2:26 am: nah. its no big deal. i wear both all the time. there is a pretty big difference, but its just about the look. its just like wearing make up. your changing your look to make yourself look better. one day you wear it one way, and the next day your wearing it different. no big deal and not a problem. just be ok with yourself in AND OUT of the bra. i hope you understand what im saying. and i hope you wear what you like. just expieriment with it and figure out what you want to do. though in middle school i think that if people found out they wouldnt see it as you changing your look for the day, theyd actually see it as somewhat of you stuffing your bra, mostly because thats just how immature middle school kids are. maybe you should just wait till highschool and see how you develop. it might not look too normal for a 7th grader to have huge tits if you know what im sayin. hope you figure it out! good luck. MummuM answered Saturday August 6 2005, 8:46 pm: Not at all sweetie. Padded bras are good and it's great that you changed over to padded bras, instead of non-padded bras and sports bras. They give you a more "fuller" effect, which is good. It's also a lot more comfortable which is a total bonus. If you like the way the padded bra's feel and look, keep them up. As long as you are comfortable in them, that is all that counts.
