Doing just sit-ups won't help you lose wait. You gotta do a variety of excersies.

You should try to build on that. I started doing about that many everyday (but I did them all at the same time), and now I've worked up to doing about 1000 everyday, doing about 200 at a time. You stomach muscles will get stronger and you'll see results in about 2 weeks. :-)

It depends on if you're doing the situps correctly, and if you're doing them EVERY day. Any muscle you build will basically disappear if you don't work out for two days in a row. But anyway, if you're doing them correctly and daily, you should see results within a month or so. But if you don't continue with the exercise, even if you have the results you want, you will lose that muscle tissue.
♥ Hope I helped.

Well, it might take you awhile. However, when you say that you do sets, I really hope your not doing 20, rest for 2 hours, then do anothr 20, 'cause that won't get you anywhere. You should do 20, rest for 10 seconds, then continue. If you're doing them correctly, you should feel a burning sensation in your stomach. That means your stomach muscles are ripping (which is good) Then eat a lot of protein (this will get your muscles to heal faster, therefore geting stronger, faster.) Hope I helped!

ok well i remember a while back i did like a bunch of situps like you have been doing and within a week when i poke my stomach i could feel it getting harder and i could even feel the burn

so keep it up and eat right and you will see results soon! little things like your stomach getting a litte harder and you feeling more energized, etc.

Um well are you doing them correctly and you should have already seen results unless you only started like a week ago but also you need to eat right and do other exercises like walking swimming pushups running jogging and stuff like that. and also when your sweating when you gte a lot wipe it off so you can sweat more the more you sweat the more water weight and fat you loose and when you get a personal trainer or work out at a gym it helps a lot
