This Suxs
Hello im 13 and I got this HUGE crush on my step-dads friends son who came to TX for vacation. Hes 16 but were only 3 years apart when you think about it. It seems really far away now. Anyways he stayed over for a week and a half. We were hanging out watching TV, fishing, playing with the dogs thats stuff. And he just went back up to Cali. I fell in love with him and I cannot get him off my mind. I dream about him, think about him like a million times a day, ask my step-dad constantly when he'll visit again. Im in MAD love and I have no clue what to do.
How do I get him off my mind?

just ask him out. just because you like this guy dosent mean you have to get him off your mind. its ok to be in love. just go for it. what is there to lose?

First of all, I doubt it's actually love. Probably more of an infatuation, you know what I mean? But if you believe you're in love with him, then that's fine.
Anyway, to be completely honest, I doubt this guy feels the same way for you as you do for him. You're a much-younger girl, and he's probably pretty practical and he knows that long-distance relationships rarely work, especially ones like the one you're hoping for. I know you really like this guy, and it sucks, but you're going to have to get over him. When you guys get older (much older), then you may be able to have a relationship. For right now, I'd say that you should try to get over it.

What I did, when I needed to get that guy off my head, I found another guy to love. So you could try that. And I think 16 and 13 is too big of a diffrence. Usually 16 year old guys, all they see in girls is sex. So anyway... just get back to him, and try to find out if he likes you. Remember words can't hurt you.

Find another guy, or if you're really close to him, tell him how you feel and see what he says. Chances are even if he likes you he PROBABLY won't commit to anything because it would be too long distance. =[ Sorry I don't have any better advice!

Oh, tell me how much it just is terrible (laugh out loud) I been in a simliar situtation before... Only I was on vacation at my aunts and uncles house in the MTS. of Penn. Anysways.. this boy and I hit it off really well ... like you and that boy. I left, it was hard and he was all I could think about, but I say let your self think about it b/c your never going to stop no matter how hard you try, just keep in check with reality that he's gone. After a year or 2 went by I happen to of seen that boy and we still clicked but it was reliefing to know that eachother was doing fine and happy with someone else... So dont ever stop thinking about him. and if u can call him, write him, you never know what might come out of it, in the mean time, start looking for someone else... you have right right to be happy in the present... every time you think of him hit yourself as hard as you want or if you dont like that idea i have another take up a hobby like something you hate cause than when you think of him you do that hobby and your like i hate this or if you cant do that just talk to yourself like saying i have no chance with him or do everything single thing i told you just do it
