i pierced my cartlige on my b-day on march 31 ... & now im doing cheerleading so they make me take it off ...no biggie, but when i was putting it back on i relized it was infected, so what can i do and shouldnt i do to make it feel better?! (bu the wasy it looks like a have a pimple on the back of the hole thingy but its the infection thingy

Well, make sure you clean it everyday, and don't, i repeat DON'T put an earing back in until your sure that it's not infected anymore. That might mean that the hole could close up though. oh and it doesn't matter WHAT it looks like.

You have to get some surgical spirit and some cotton buds and clean it, it will sting like hell but hopefully kill some of teh bacteria in it. Also clean the metal bit wiht it too, and it will sting like hell when you put it in but it will make it better. if it gets worse, go to a doctor to get some antibiotics. If it stays infected for more than a week, go to the doctor to get some antibiotics, also if its swollen it could be a metal reaction, so change the metal to something nickle free as thats the main metal that people react to, so change it to titanium, thats a good metal for piercings.
And i would suggest not going swimming for a while, i did that when i got my belly button done, it gets it all infected and its not nice.

Try cleaning the infected area with rubbing alcohol. If you don't see it becoming better, then don't try putting the earring back in or touching the area. If you have to, let the hole close up and you can always get it pierced again.

whoa that happened to me so i asked the piercer dude what to do and here it is: take a cotton ball and wet it with really hot water. (not so hot that it will like burn!) but just enough so that you can feel it doing something. press against the 'pimple' for a couple of minutes and do it for a couple of days till it goes away. mine went away in like 2 minutes. it just like disappared. watch out though.. if that doesn't work pretty quickly, go to the doctors or something. it might be infected. good luck! :)

you can't make it better.. the best thing you can do is take it out.. your body is rejecting the piercing.. if you don't take it out it's only gonna get worse and worse... so take it out.. and get your other ear pierced.. that is what a lady said to me when i got mine pierced. hope i helped

Tell your mom or someone. You don't want it getting infected even worse, believe me. Use some alcohol or proxide on it. Get some earring cleaner and wash all around the hole.

clean it with alcohol or bactine. and use neosporine!! when you clean it make sure you wash your hands. and try to put it back in. and 4 cheerleading maybe you can put tape over your peircings so you wont have to take it out.

what you do:
clean it out twice a day with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. and put neosporin on it once a day.
what you dont do:
dont put your earring in
dont touch it (it may itch or hurt tempting you to touch it but dont)
advice to you when the infection clears up wash it out once a week with peroxide and water.
