Prep
I'm just wondering, my friends say sometimes I act like a prep. And I dont mind that, cus like we were doing this quiz that like "sterotyped" you and they agreed on the answer. But I was wondering, what makes someone a prep? Is it like there popular or something ?

Preps.To me, they are always happy, usually somewhat popular.They usually have an unheathy obession with men, L-O-V-E love that fitch and ambercornbe place (as you can see this isnt my style) They have a strange attachment to pink and bright colors. Everyother word is "omg" or "like". They annoy me, personally. Now of course these are sterotypes.
Labels, if you will. And to me, labels are for campbells soup. Not people dear.

Being a prep isn't nessacarily about being popular. My friends and I consider ourselves to be preppy and we aren't like top of the charts in schools. Being preppy is about being girly, you know like doing girly sports cheerleading, dance loving makeup drssing fancy you know just being a girl! Being preppy isn't anything bad. Most people would classify preps as the people who wear lots of Hollister + Abercrombie and Fitch and are popular and pretty. I guess acting like a prep would mean being really happy all the time and being into lots of really girly stuff. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion, but some people don't like "preps." I think it's because they're jealous, but whatever.

hm...I HATE stereotypes...but heres what it usually means.I do not mean to offend you in any way and this is not directed at you.
They're usually always happy,peppy.Some of them do drugs and some are sluts.They were stuff like Aeropostle and Limited Too etc...They seem to not like punk or goth people.The girls usually wear skirts,and have their hair a different way every day of the week.The girls wear tight shirts with cute logos of their favorite clothing line or 'witty' sayings on them.They like mianstream music.

There's really nothing that makes you a "prep". That's just giving you a label. Prep by some definitions would be: rich, stuck up group of girls [or boys], all the money they want, "in" style, can get away with anything, has the "connections" that everybody wants. That's what most people would say. It's also mainly a style of "girly girl" clothing.

what i consider a prep is girls who where mini skirts/tight jeans/ ANYTHING pink from American Eagle, Abercrombie and fitch, etc. and say things like "like OOOOMG!" and they only like ppl for looks. For ex: they'll only go out with a guy who is good looking.

being preppy isn*t really about being popular. But it has to do with wearing nice clothes (for instance a polo shirt or sumthing argyle.. well that*s wut first comes to mi mind) most people who are preppy have a little bit of money. I don*t really think there*s a deffinition but that*s wut i can think of.

well prep is sumtimes when you are like hyer a lot and you say "like" alot and iono but yea sure it does make sum people popular i really dont think anyone should be labled anyways... as in like "prep" "emo" and "punk" i think thts all just stupid everyone is themselves or w/e thts just the way they are and raised =]

Im a prep but being a prep doesnt always make you popular. I mean you have to dress preppy, act like it to. You cant just have a shirt from Hollister and say that you are a prep.. thats just not right. Prep is someone really girly. Like gets their nails done and loves all that stuff.
