Question Posted Thursday July 21 2005, 9:30 pm

(16/f)Does anyone know a work-out I can do to work my lower abs? I've been doing crunches/sit ups and all i've gotten is a 2-pack. Would leg lifts help? I don't want a work-out video-and i belong to a gym so i have access to medicine balls and what not, but i'd prefer just a movement i could do at home! thanks!

My mom got it at a place called Mark Steven's for $20 but it is sold at other places for a little bit more. Im talking about The Firm. Each Firm kit comes with the "fanny lifter" (you NEED this to do the excersizes) and 3 really great work outs focusing on your Abs, Sculpting your body, and there's one more that I cant remember. good luck! hope i helped! please rate! xO'ali

You're on the right track. Two things to keep in mind: it doesn't happen over night, and you have to do it right. It's something you need to do for quite a while...months, really. And...and i dont know if this applies to you or not...but I've noticed teenagers tend to do situps by only half or a quarter of the way up. You have to go all the way up, and all the way down, for it to be effective. Some claim this puts undue stress on the lower back, but this won't happen provided that you exercise on a mat or soft surface.

reverse crunches- lay on the floor with your legs parallel to the floor and lift them to where you form a right angle with your body then lower them but do NOT go all the way to the floor just a few inches and do as many of those as you can

side crunches-put your knees to one side and do crunches to that one side, then switch

bicycle crunches- lay down with your knees up and feet off the floor and move your legs so that it looks like you are riding a bike and with your arms do opposite arm opposite knee.

if you dont understand me just drop one in my box and ill be glad to help!

I think leg lifts would help a little. Just continute doing crunches. A reverse crunch works the lower abs.♥//
