Question Posted Wednesday July 20 2005, 9:36 pm

Okay, I asked the discharge question like an hour ago. My period just came but i dont know how to tell my mom cause someone from her work is here so shes working with her. How should I tell her, i dont wanna call her upstairs, that'd be too obvious but i dont wanna go downstairs to tell her either! HELP!

Maybe you can tell her later, but if you REALLY need to tell her, call her upstairs, even if it sounds obvious. And remember to ask her not to mention it to the person she's working with

Welcome to womanhood! Join the club!
Just put a pad/tampon/panyliner on while you wait until your mom's friend leaves. Or put a pad on, go downstairs, tell your mom you need her to come upstairs or in the kitchen or something so it's not obvious and tell her. That should make it look like nothing!

Best of luck!

Hope I helped!

Just call her upstairs. Its not that bad. That won't be obvious because it could be anything. Just pull her aside and tell her. GOod Luck. <3 Lana

You don't really need to tell your mom right now. Wait until her friend leaves, and in the mean time put on a pad.

You don't need to tell her right now, just go in the bathroom and put a pad in your panties...then when that person is gone you can tell her.

If you don't want to tell her because a worker is over, tell her tomorrow when she's not around. I think you'll feel more comfortable when its just you and your mom. Just look around the bathroom for a pad for now. If you can't find anything, just roll up some tolet papper. Then tomorrow, once you get up, tell your mom you started your period. You could always do it now, if you're a little scared about this hole period deal. Just go downstairs and say "Mom, can I talk to you in the next room for a second" or something along those lines. Or you could always wait till your mothers friends leave, then you can tell her.

alright. just look for a pad in the bathroom or wherever. if you cant find one then you have no choice but to wad up some toliet papper and go with that. but i do think you need to go down there. i mean there both girls...they will understand. just say mom, hi, um...can i talk to you for a minute. then tell her. you dont have to tell her in front of her friends...or who ever. hope i helped.
