truadvice answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 9:17 pm: no tax on songs you can delete songs and if you reaced your limit you have to buy a new one , delete old songs or on your computer you can choose which ones you want on the ipod because your play list is on the computer and it can store as many as you want. azngemini answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 7:31 pm: oo.. i have a mini ipod.. well i HAD one until i broke it 2 weeks ago.. :(
but anyway.. you dont have to pay for songs.. you can download them for free like me. I use win mx, downloading free music is illegal and all, but millions of people download music without paying at all, so it's not that big of a deal.
yaa.. you can delete songs to replace them with other songs.
i suggest that you should wait for a better ipod to come out. my brother told me there's gonna be an even better ipod mini... like an ipod mini with a color screen.. he's not sure when it comes out, but he said maybe in december this year. it could just be a rumor, but I really hope that it's true because I'm waiting to buy it. the original ipod mini came out like a year and a half ago, and I'm sure there's going to be an improved ipod mini coming out soon..
barbiedollx answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 5:54 pm: You don't have to pay for songs. Download them from www.winmx.com or www.limewire.com. Once you download the music open the iTunes library and click add more files click the songs hit open. It will update your iPod within a few mins. iPod mini does not necessarily hold 1000 songs, it holds 4000 minutes worth of music. But yes you can get rid of songs off your iPod. exton answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 5:53 pm: It shouldn't have a tax. And rather than deleting the songs, copy them to your hard drive from your ipod and then delete them on your ipod - that way, you'll still have the songs, just not on your ipod.
And don't bother buying music - at a dollar per song, it's like buying a whole cd in small pieces. Borrow cd's from your friends and rip mp3's from those, or pirate it off the 'net. Disclaimer: that's illegal.
And in response to the question you asked in your feedback to me, the answer is maybe. It's not illegal to rip music from cd's that you own, but it is illegal to rip music from cd's that you borrow. Think of it this way, though - you will never get caught copying your friends' cd's. [ exton's advice column | Ask exton A Question ]
Dakmor answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 5:38 pm: Yes, I can help you here. Most songs are $.99, but the 20 minute ones can cost more. Some songs you can't get via iTunes. There is no tax, and every week you can get one song free---but you can't choose which one, it's just a freebie, usually an old song. Yes, you can delete songs, but that's a waste of cash. You can get songs for free off of your CDs. Believe me, it'll take a few years to fill up all 1,000 songs. [ Dakmor's advice column | Ask Dakmor A Question ]
