S_C answered Friday July 15 2005, 8:15 pm: Hey, I asked my mom and she said no... you weren't on AIM so I couldn't IM you, and then I remembered you asked this question.
Anyway, she said you can't get pregnant when you're on your period, and that the week before and the week after your period your chances are lower, or maybe she said higher, not sure about that.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know I asked my mom (knowing I would get the 3rd degree about if I was having sex, and I did.) and that she said no.

mushoku answered Friday July 15 2005, 2:59 pm: It's a really good time to get pregnant, actually. So if you don't want to get pregnant, don't have unprotected sex, because once you've had you're first period there's no time when you are not able to get pregnant. At least not until after your last period (you know, in your 40's or 50's or whenever it happens) [ mushoku's advice column | Ask mushoku A Question ]
tyedyeprincess answered Friday July 15 2005, 2:52 pm: yes you can. You can't tell if the egg has left your body during your period until your period has ceased for the cycle. An egg is the size of one cell which is really tiny. So if you are going to have sex during your period and during the month, use a condom unless you actually want to have kids:-) [ tyedyeprincess's advice column | Ask tyedyeprincess A Question ]
