VixenDark answered Thursday July 14 2005, 8:25 am: It is very poor spanish. They are trying to say I love you, but did so in a manner that makes them see like an idiotic gringo. ^^
Kr4z3y_Ch3lly answered Thursday July 14 2005, 4:54 am: alright well..it means i love you but thats not how you really say it..and since they said "usted" that means that they were talking to someone important or higher then them, like a teacher, parent, or adult. also in the spanish language they never use the word "love" because they believe it is a very strong meaning..unless of corse they really ment it. like say someone said "i love icecream" in spanish which would be "te amo helado" then the people in the spanish speaking place that they were at would look at them like they were crazy..learned that in spanish last year..i guess i did learn something then huh haha...but yea hope that helps haha
*ashlee* answered Thursday July 14 2005, 12:26 am: whoever said it was trying to say "i love you" im pretty sure they should have said "te amor usted" though. but dont hold me to it. [ *ashlee*'s advice column | Ask *ashlee* A Question ]
