xHeartBreaker answered Wednesday July 13 2005, 12:31 am: There are a bunch of medicines you could take. Such as asprin, advil, tylonel, and more. Just look around your house and see what you have. Read the box or label and see if it says headache releif and then take some and see how you feel. Feel better! [ xHeartBreaker's advice column | Ask xHeartBreaker A Question ]

Try moving it around now and them while you're using it. Take a couple of aspirin or Tylenol and lie down for an hour or so...hopefully it will go away. VixenDark answered Tuesday July 12 2005, 10:49 am: Take a nap. Then try to figure out the headache causer. It may be the glare from the screen (use a glare shield) or it may just be eye strain. [ VixenDark's advice column | Ask VixenDark A Question ]
Shortie8959 answered Monday July 11 2005, 11:57 pm: Hi. I would suggest taking aspirin, tylenol, motion, or ibuprofen, whatever you have around the house. Then try and lay down and watch some tv or sleep. Good luck! I hope you feel better! ♥ Erin [ Shortie8959's advice column | Ask Shortie8959 A Question ]
Sporkster answered Monday July 11 2005, 11:32 pm: I get major headaches because I'm on the computer most of the day doing stuff like coding, running around Advicenators, etc. Since you don't want to take medicine, I advise just laying down and taking a short nap. That always makes me feel better.
If you wake up and still feel bad, I advise taking some sort of medicine. But make SURE that you know exactly what you're taking and how much of it you can take safely. Ask your parents for medicine if they're home by the time you wake up. Don't take ANYTHING without knowing what you're doing. It could make you really sick.
With that said, I hope you feel better soon, and that my advice helps you out.
MFS answered Monday July 11 2005, 11:22 pm: Have you tried changing the refresh rate on your monitor? From the desktop, get the properties tab, then settings... probably under "Advanced..." you can change the refrsh rate... if it is set to 60Hz, that's in-synch with the lights around you, which can cause horrible headaches. You should be safe to trying 70Hz or 72Hz. If there's an 80Hz option, becareful because that can damage some monitors.
However, if your monitor is not a CRT (television-esque monitor), then you cannot do that... so what you have could be an occular headache caused by eye strain. Which means, get away from the comptuer, don't drink any caffiene, and drink lots of water as you rest your eyes. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
