Steriods have hormoines in them that make your bady act different. I had to take them after I found out I was allergic to nickle ( the kind in necklaces not the money ). They made me swell up like a ballon. Your fine, trust me, but if you don't, talk to your doctor about the side effects of the steriods. He's there to help. Hope this helped and I hope you get well soon.

You can be set free from that disease that limits you and be as healthy as an ox. If you wanna know more holla at me. [ Real4Christ07's advice column | Ask Real4Christ07 A Question ]
DancinCutie08 answered Monday July 11 2005, 12:54 pm: well ive been on steriods like you for about 7 years. i havent had any swelling in the past couple of years as far as i can remeber so it should go away and its going to be a teperary thing. I dont think you should be uncomfortable because you have to realize there is nothing you can do about it. i am sure you friends understand too so just let go and have fun. kait_1991 answered Sunday July 10 2005, 3:04 pm: omg, i no exactly how you feel i have the same problem my face has swollen up but the only problem was that i had to get my picture taking at school. theres no easy way to say this but you are going to feel really uncomfortable for the next while. but the good thing is that you dont have to loose weight when you come off the steriods the weight just comes off naturally so you will look fab and people will be saying to you "oh have you lost wight" when really its just the swelling going down.

*ashlee* answered Sunday July 10 2005, 2:05 pm: its only natural that your going to feel uncomfortable for a while, until you get used to being this way. but you shouldnt be ashamed of it or anything, you cant help it and you should just be glad that it wasnt something youll die from in a few days you know? anyone who knows you should know what you have and that your going to look a little different, and if they are someone you want as a friend then theyll understand. if its someone whos going to make fun of you or judge you, they dont matter anyway. so just know who your real friends are and know that theyll love you know matter what you look like in a picture. just do what makes you happy. passionate answered Sunday July 10 2005, 1:26 pm: Well, I heard if you take a new kind of medicine that you haven't tried before you get side effects. You get side effects because your body isn't used to the new type of medicine. So, just hold out and if it doesn't go away for a while (Try a Week) then talk to your doctor. I'm pretty sure that you should be feeling that way.
