Is it possible to not be able to kiss someone because their nose is "too big"? I haven't kissed anyone yet but I've heard stories of girls that's noses were "in the way" when they were trying to make out with their boyfriends. So0rry if this sounds stupid it's just, my boyfriend made a comment about mine && now I'm kind of self-counsious (sp??) about it.
XxonlyindreamsxX answered Monday July 4 2005, 9:24 pm: no, it doesn't matter how big or small your nose is as long as you lean just right. and if ur bf is making you feel bad/ self conscious then maybe you should think about why you like this guy. but don't worry about making out, it's easy and noses shouldn't be a problem. Yeah you can kiss them and yes it gets n the way but u turn your head one way and they turn theres in the opposite way and problem sloved but its not like you dont break your neck or nothing. And yes, a nose CAN get in the way if you don't know how to kiss. Your not supposed to do a "straight headed" kiss as I like to call them. You tilt your head slightly to another side so you DON'T slam your noses into eachother. Always have your eyes SLIGHTLY closed before your lips actually touch so you know which way to go without hitting your noses together. Or, what guys like to do, they grab the girls head and pull it to them so they don't have to worry about "Oh shiz, do I go to the left or the right?" But yeah, I've heard plently of stories like that and that's just because they don't know how the hell to kiss. Try not to stay in one position the entire time. If you go to move your head to the other side, take your tounge OUT of the guys mouth, separate your lips, move to the other side and continue on with your business. It should work fine for you. But don't be self concious about your nose because that will make it even more difficult for you. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
MummuM answered Monday July 4 2005, 8:14 pm: No, because when you kiss someone, it's usually just a quick kiss and you don't actually touch noses or anything. If you're making out with someone, you usually tilt your head. So really, there's no way that someones nose could be in the way. Don't worry about it at all hun!

FrEe2bMe answered Monday July 4 2005, 8:08 pm: Noses come in all different shapes nad sizes; that's true. But, I seriously doubt that it can be "too big" to kiss. Yes, a nose could be a little large for someones face and be in the way slightly, but when you kiss someone you sometimes tilt your head so it wouldn't really be in the way. Even if you rammed your face straight ahead with your boyfriends and you had the biggest nose imaginable, it still wouldn't be completely disabling for the two of you to be able to kiss. I mean if that were true, what would all the people with big noses do? Another thing, the art of the kiss has more to do with lips and toungues..not noses. And also, don't let ANYONE bring you down about who you or how you look. I am sure yo are beautiful. If you want, try talking to your boyfriend and tell him that you are sure he didn't intentionly mean to, but his comment hurt your feelings. Anyways, good luck! :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
