i want a job
im 13 years old and im a girl. i just want 2 know if there is any jobs that i could get at my age. and please dont say babysitting because i dont really want 2. please and thanks!

I doubt you'd be able go go out and get a job at a restaraunt or a store at the age of 13. Most places require that you be at least 16 years old, or 15 years old with a work permit. If you really want to make money of yoru own and babysitting is absolutly out of the question, you could always see about doing chores around your house, doing yard work, or working at a family business if yours happens to have one. You could also try doing things for nieghbors, like mowing lawns, or other things that they pay other people to come to the house and do.

You cant get an acual job until you are 16 so for now you're stuck with little things such as.. you could clean around the house and help out and ask your mom to pay you! If you have some neighbors with dogs you could walk them and stuff. Babysitting is a good job tho. I mean you get payed good and its easy! Just stick to those things until you are old enough! ♥//

haha i know how you feel...when i was 13 thats what my parents wanted me to do...but it didnt happen. lol i know when i was 13 and i continue to do so...i help my stepmom with office work like putting addresses into an address book on the computer, making labels, fileing stuff, and i also just started to help my stepmoms friend with her business by helping her with taxes and i also do that with my stepmom. so i dunno maybe ask your parents if they could use your help in exchange for a little bit of $$$.

at 13 their are not really any other than like walking dogs. or i guess you could like wash people's cars. or go old fashoined and sell lemonade and tell them that you have to raise enough money to help your mom with her cancer, because your dad left her and wont pay child support, and your little brother//sister got hit by a car 3 years ago and died.

Sadly, other than babysitting, there are no other jobs for 13 year olds. Unless you start your own business. You can garden for people, make something, walk dogs, ect. It's actually better because you won't get tax dollars taken out of your pay check. With other jobs (like fast food places) you have to be 14 and more common 16. So try starting your own business. For actual real jobs, no, there are no jobs that you could get. At fast food joints and such, you have to be at least fifteen to apply. At most other departments, you have to be at least sixteen. Besides babysitting, your only option is to do community service such as walking dogs, washing cars, mowing lawns, and so on.
