What does it mean to say, for example, someone in you family has been twice removed?

It means, say someone says your cousin twice removed...

It would be your cousin's children's children.

Ok say I am married to your dad. We divorce. So I was once remover. Then I marry your uncle, we divorce. Tat is twice removed. I hope I helped

this is a good question... my best friend and i are third cousins.... (basically our grandmothers were cousins, our dads are second cousins... yeah)
ok say if your uncle got married. his wife would be your aunt. but her sister or brother would be your aunt/uncle once removed. (because theyre not related by marriage exactly)
so lets say the aunt that married into your family had a sister. (your aunt once removed) her husband married into your aunt's family. i think the way that goes is that HE is your uncle twice removed. does that help?
