Does anyone know all the techniques for straightening hair? (both temporarily and permanently) Please either give me a list with prices, or websites with descriptions. I rate 5's! Thanks so much

or you could get it chemically relaxed but that doesnt really straighten it, just gets out some of the frizz until it grows out.

Just go to the hairdresser and tell her/him to do it for you. I think it costs a lot though. Well, in my country it does.
24xHourxShRiink answered Monday June 27 2005, 12:28 am: ok well it all depends on what kind of hair you have like if yu have really curly hair i would put a serum in it then blow dry it straight then i would get a ceramic hair strightner (( the best )) then strighten it. like they other person said they range from $40 to lyk $400..but sometimes the cheap ones work just as good...they have a store called sally`s beauty supplies if you go there look at the straightners they have reasonable prices or try to find it online i would look for a ceramic hair strightner because they work the best, also she said that metal dont work well you see it does make it look stright but in like 10 minutes it will get wavy and frizzy so dont go with metal at all an follow your hair down slow with a comb and start with the hair underneath first an make your way to the top it will make the process go by faster!

It looks like a hair straightner but it has brush bristles and you don't plug it in or anything.
Instead it has vents at the top, and you follow the brush down your hair with your hair dryer. It works really well and I don't think its any more than 15 dollars. [ K1timeatbandcamp's advice column | Ask K1timeatbandcamp A Question ]

You can get your hair permanently straightened at any beauty salon and costs around $60
You can get some cheap hair straightners but I think the $40+ are worth the money. Mine is $40 (on sale-- it's real worth was $150) If you buy a cheap one they usually short out and don't last long and make your hair smell burnt... Look around for some deals, straighteners go on sale a lot and usually you can find some expensive straighteners really cheap if you find some good deals... If you have a sally's in your area, look there.
---Edit---
When you do straighten your hair, ake little sections of hair and start at the root and slowly slide the straightener down the section of hair. Then keep doing that until it's all straight. To get closer to the root of your hair, get a smaller size straightener. I have a 1 inch and it works really well. A bigger straightener will work faster but can't get your roots as good.
