Dividing
I am getting my room put in the basement but the problem is that the room I'm going to be in has a door to the laundry room so people will constantly be going through my room. Is there a wall or divider type thing I can put between the two rooms that is cheap? If you have specific stores that carry such things, or ideas for ways I could divide the room, please tell me!

You can get a curtain, or make a divider with bookshelves or something. Go to IKEA, they have tons of furniture and stuff for this.

Well you can have the door ripped out of its hinges and put a nice curtain in its place. It will give your room a kind of plushy feel. You can get really good materials at Jo-Anne's Fabrics. Or, if you don't like that kind of stuff, you can have the door nailed to the wall, have the doorknob removed, and paint over that

they have really cute curtains at pbteen and bed bath and beyond. i have a similar problem with our tv room and like the main hallway and i think it will be really cute. polka dots look really cute or just plain colors.

heyy .. i dont think any store will sell divdiers so your gonna have to make something out of cardboard of wood yourself or have like your father make it for you and have everyone knock before they come in and you can make a sign that says like knock before you enter or something funky like that or your names room knock before you come in

you could always take a skinny iron rope thing and nail it across your room or where ever you want to dived the space and hang a dark curtain across it. Its cheep and it looks kool.

Try tall cubicle dividers. Office supply type stores with furniture should have them, or at least be able to point you in the right direction.

You could get some Japanese screens? The real ones are probably really expensive, lol. You could buy cheap fake ones. I wouldn't know, because I've never had one =b You could get some cardboard or wood and make some yourself. Then you could put fabric on it, or paint it, or decorate it, or whatever to make it look nice.
Or you can put bookshelves along so your part of the room can be blocked and private? Of course, unless you have a lot of bookshelves, you'd probably have to buy them =b
Or you can put hooks on the corners of your room or on the ceiling and hang curtains or something.
Sorry I couldn't give you stores or anything, I just have ideas for you. I don't know any and I doubt you'll find a wall divider for cheap. I say go for homemade divider or hang curtains. =b
