Hey guys, I want to put lemon juice in my hair to lighten up the shade a little bit. Anyways when do i put the lemon juice in? Do i put it in after i take a shower, or do i put it in when my hair is dry? Thanks in advance
Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday June 25 2005, 5:20 pm: You can put it on either time. However, it's best to put it on right before you go outside. Either way it's better to put it on before you do something outside. Reapply throughout the day. Don't expect results right away. It takes a while. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]

its cool.. you want 2 do it when you go 2 the beach or the pool... and you want to use regular lemosn not lemon juice... so first you take your dry hair and squeeze the lemon is a cup... if you use lemon juice it will make your hair spaz... trust me i know.... and then you take the lemon that was squezzed and take a brush or comb and dip it in the cup for even streaks... or if you want just blonde anywhere you use your hands to spread the squezzed lemon around.
Ignorance_Combatant answered Saturday June 25 2005, 1:39 pm: It's not lemon juice. Everyone is lying to you to make you buy lemon juice and mess up your hair. It'll make your hair stringy, dry and hard to mess with. Don't put orange juice in it either (as was suggested by YourWorstNightmare) because that turns your hair green. Though, that sounds pretty cool. I might try that. If you want your hair to have natural highlights in it, put beet juice in it right after you get out of the shower, then go sit in the dark. I mean - DARK .
xxxxxx answered Saturday June 25 2005, 1:16 pm: lemon juice is just like sun-in. On the sun-in bottle, it says apply after you get out of the shower, WHEN HAIR IS DAMP, then go in the sun, and as the sun dries your hair, it will lighten it. I've done the lemon juice thing for years, and it always works for me! [ xxxxxx's advice column | Ask xxxxxx A Question ]
cotyscassell answered Saturday June 25 2005, 1:15 pm: Well, I don't actually know about lemon juice. I do know that it has acid in it and it will dry out your skin. There are special shampoos you can get to lighten your hair(and they cost about the same as normal shampoo!). I would try something like that instead.
