what if?
if a blind person got shampoo in their eyes would it sting? dotn tell me its a stupid question i know ! i rate high!

Maybe, they still might have pain nerves in their eyes and only their sight is damaged.

Yes it would sting. The pain receptor nerves are not what is damaged when eyesight is lost.

Yeah.....just because you can't see out of them doesn't mean that you can't feel when something like that touches them.

my mom is blind and yes it still stings if they get shampoo in there eyes.. the still have feeling in their eyes and most can move em still.. they just cant see.. ♥ Dez

You would think that it would..i dont think that they have lost all feeling in their eye, just the sight. I mean i'm sure if you poked them in the eye they'd feel it..so it's probably kind of like that.

yeah im pretty sure it will sting.because when you go blind a layer of something covers...umm i forgot the name but it protects your pupil.

it probably would not hurt because the nerves in there eyes have died. but if they were in the shower and they were blind dont you think they would closer their eyes? but it depends if they were simi, then yea it would hurt and maybe even make them blind which would suck.

anyway, if they're eyes are not cut off completely (like they no longer get blood flowing to them, no nerves connected, et cetera), they usually can. Unless they don't have the sense of feeling in their eyes, which would be different than blindness.

it not stubid it would still sting cause of the nerves in the eys r still there if there blind or not i no my uncle is blind in one eye and he got some dust in his eye and it still sting

um yes and it would hurt more then you getting shampoo in your eyes because they can still feel and since their eyes have an illness it would effect their sight more if the blind person is half blind (i forgot the word for half blind)
